Asola Wildlife Sanctuary in Delhi

Take a Breathtaking Ride at the very popular and well known Asola wildlife sanctuary is situated at southern extreme of Delhi, accessed with two consecutive entrances, the main entrance however located close to the Surajkund area. The Asola Wildlife Sanctuary Delhi was established in 1992 aiming the protection of the wildlife.

Government of Delhi has established two large enclosures for Blackbuck and Chital or Spotted Deer conservation, rehabilitation and breeding inside Asola Wildlife Sanctuary Delhi. The Sanctuary is fully covered by the forest with larger variety fauna and flora. The sanctuary is the safe haven for cormorants, egrets, grebes, sandpipers, woodpeckers, doves, parakeets, cuckoos, owls, nightjars, falcons, partridges, quail, peafowl, lapwings, and barbets etc.
Therefore, if you simply love to see exotic local animals like blackbucks in their natural habitat, Asola wildlife sanctuary is probably the best place on the earth to get the experience. The entire walk of the sanctuary is certainly a rocking feel and an obviously calming and enlightening experience. This is an ideal weekend activity if all you desire to come in the close contact with the blackbucks and Nilgais that are exclusive to this region.
