Sharukh Khan      

                                       

Shahrukh Khan is the famous bollywood actor. He was born and raised in New Delhi, born November 2, 1965. He did schooling from St. Columba's School, graduated in Economics from Hansraj College and Masters Degree in Mass Communications from Jamia Millia Islamia University.      

He started his career in 1988 by appearing in the television series Fauj and in Circus in 1989. He made debut in film Deewana released in 1992. He won 13 Filmfare Awards.


Nandita Das    

                    

Nandita Das, born on 7th November 1969, won a number of national and international awards. She did schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, bachelor's degree in Geography from Miranda House and Post Graduation from the Delhi School of Social Work.

Her debut film is Pariniti as an actress. Her made debut as director in Firaaq.

Sonia Gandhi

Born in Lusiana (Italy), Sonia Gandhi is the widow of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. She is the President of Indian National Congress and Chairperson of United Progressive Alliance (UPA). Being the most influential person in Indian politics, she was named by the Forbes magazine in 2004 as the third most powerful woman in the world.

Rahul Gandhi

Born on June 19, 1970 in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi belongs to Nehru-Gandhi family, the most prominent political family in India. He is the first amongst two children of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and President of Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi. He is an Indian politician and member of Parliament from the Amethi constituency.

Priyanka (Gandhi) Vadra

Priyanka Vadra was born on January 12, 1972 in Delhi. She is the daughter of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and President of the Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi. She is not into politics directly as her brother Rahul Gandhi. In an interview to BBC in 1999 she said, "I am very clear in my mind. Politics is not a strong pull, the people are. And I can do things for them without being in politics." Priyanka is an amateur radio operator with callsign VU2PGY.

Sheila Dikshit

Sheila Dikshit was born on March 31, 1938 in Kapurthala (Punjab) and is serving as the Chief Minister of Delhi since 1998, third consecutive term. Dr. Dikshit belongs to the Indian National Congress and is the second woman Chief Minister of Delhi.

Sahib Singh Verma

Sahib Singh Verma was born on March 15, 1943 in the Mundka Village, outer Delhi. He was a senior vice-president in the BJP. He was Chief Minister of Delhi from 1996-1998 and served as Member of Parliament from 1999-2004. He died on June 30, 2007 in a car collision with a truck on Alwar-Delhi highway.

Madan Lal Khurana

Madan Lal Khurana was born on October 15, 1936 in yallpur (now Faisalabad in Pakistan). He served as the Chief Minister of Delhi and was also Governor of Rajasthan.
