Free Heart Surgery For Poor Children: National Heart Institute

Under its “Community Outreach Programme”, National Heart Institute (NHI) / All India Heart Foundation (AIHF) is taking Children between 5 – 15 years of age,basically who belong to poor socio-economic strata for ‘Free Cardiac Surgery / Intervention’.

Conditions for Free heart surgery for poor children:
- only children between 5-15 yrs  of age will be accepted

- only children with diagnosed:
1. Ventricular septal defect (VSD)

2. Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)

3. Tetrology of Fallots (ToF)

4. Atrial septal defect (ASD)

Note : Parents/ guardians have to arrange 6 units of blood.
