Gargi College

Gargi College was established in 1967 and is a UGC-certifed college with potential of excellence. Various departments of the college are engadged in innovation and experimentation and are promoting research at the undergraduate level. The College building has been declared a heritage site by the ASI.

Gargi College is one of the few women’s colleges of the University of Delhi that offers education in three streams – Arts, Commerce and Science, as well as two professional courses – B.A. (Hons) Business Economics and B.El.Ed which is a teacher training course.

Gargi College: Facilities:
The college auditorium and a computer lab with 75 computers and Wi-Fi are ready for use. Computer labs have also been set up inside the library. The college has a women development centre, ecology club, film club, seminar room and a placement cell, and active NSS and NCC, it organizes field trips, training in seven sports and about 10cultural genres and fests.
