Motilal Nehru College is one of the first and foremost colleges established by Delhi Administration in the 1964. The college started with all the three faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce. Situated in a sprawling and beautiful campus, the college prides itself with being one of the most disabled friendly campuses in the University of Delhi and received appreciation from NGOs such as the Sambhavana which visited the college in liaison with the University of Delhi. Further, the placement records of students who have successfully graduated, is an enviable one and worthy of mention. The college is now in the process of enlarging its infrastructure which includes state-of-the-art class rooms, 24 x 7 Genset for power back up, etc. in view of the OBC reservation implemented by the Govt. of India.

Motilal Nehru College: Facilities
The college has more than one lakh books and a placement cell. The college also has an airconditioned seminar room with a seating capacity of 100 and a video projection system. It has been practicing rainwater harvesting since the past six years. The Delhi government also grants a scholarship to six students on the basis of excellence in the university examinant has produced many athletes and has bagged the chancellor’s trophy for best overall performance. The college also has provision for NCC.
