Dress your best, learn some party tricks and open those liquor cabinets because the party's coming to your home. Granted, the task is daunting but isn't it all worth it to watch your buddies get drunk silly, with no bouncer to toss you out for not fitting into the crowd? But it's not all fun and games; be prepared to take on the tasks of arranging for food, booze, music and of course cleaning up after it's over.

• Blood Sucker Theme: Ever since the Twilight series invaded our bookshelves and DVD racks, vampire mania has hit the entire world. So, for one night, your guests can live the fantasy of being vampires. Costumes have to be vampire inspired. You can have dark lighting (since vamps are seriously allergic to light) that will intensify the mood with drinks that are blood-red in colour. Your food too could resemble human body parts but if that's too gross for you, stick to the ordinary. You can even give out free fangs to your guests.

• Celebrities : Everyone can dress up as their favourite celebrity. Take your pick, there are several celebrities from Hollywood or bollywood from wide range of singer actor/actress sports celeb, then at least everyone will certainly know who you are  
•  Dream Jobs: A costume party where everyone dresses up like the profession they always wanted to take up. This party would be very interesting with people dressed as policemen, sailors, rock stars, doctors, nurses, Vegas show girls or ballerinas. Anything goes - as long as it's a profession legal in at least two countries. It's time to revel in your childhood, or even grownup, fantasies.
• Historical figure : let’s see how well do you know history, Everyone was haunted by History in school days so here will be your chance to understand a littile history and may be also know few things about it may be.
•  Who was the most talked about man in India this year? Rajnikant playing Chitti, the good robot gone bad was posted on almost every Indian's FB profile this year. A Rajnikant theme party therefore is the perfect way to end your year. Have all your guests dress up like their favourite Rajnikant character. The ladies too. Right from his glares to his wig, everything should be spot on. The best Rajnikant impersonator will be awarded a special gift (we leave it up to you what the gift should be). Organise a best Rajni film moment competition and raise your spirits by sharing Rajni one liners and jokes. The music will obviously be only Rajni songs.
