It's the end of the League stages in the sixth edition of the Indian T20 League and we are about to head into the Play-offs as Mumbai take on two time champions Chennai at the Feroz Kotla, Delhi. Since 2010, Mumbai have played well and managed to qualify for the semis/play-offs after ending their run in the group stage only for the inaugural two years.
In 2010 they ended up being the Runners-up and were seated 3rd and 4th respectively in 2011 and 2012 and would like to end this run of not winning the tournament even after performing well. Chennai, on the other hand, have made use of most of their opportunities and are the only team with a record of making it post group stage in all the seasons. With two Championship cups and a couple of times ending as runners-up, the MS Dhoni led team has always been terrific and have shown no signs of struggle even this year.
Both the teams have played well throughout the season with 11 wins in the League stages but this will be the most important game for them as a win here will give them a direct ticket to the finals. The losing side though will not be out of the contest and will have another chance of fighting against the winners of the Eliminator round. All in all, it is going to be a cracker of a game!
