National Science museum

Capital city Delhi offers a number of tourists destination, The National Science Centre is one of them. It constitute unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India.
 
National Science Centre Museum is situated in the Pragati Maidan area of New Delhi. The museum, one of the largest science centers in the country, was set up mainly for the kids to develop their interest in the field of science.
 
It consists of an array of working science models, which can be operated by the visitors themselves. The science center, indeed offers education in the sugar-coating of entertainment. The abundance of galleries marks the center. Each gallery is invested with a specific theme and an awesome diversity of exhibits.
 
The display articles and demonstrations often depend on different theories and laws of science, well-comprehended by the pursuing students.
Apart from this the centre of attraction at the centre is the Dinosaur`s gallery of animals, belonging to the Mesozoic period specially for children. The multiple illuminating presentations, enlightening India`s achievement in the realms of science and mathematics, regarding the celebrated Nobel Prize winners and Indian stalwarts of this sphere.
 
Visitors can buy insignias, like, key chains, t-shirts and chinaware. One of the major initiatives on the part of the center authorities is the arrangement for discussion-sessions with an Alpha scientist of the country, along with science picnics for the student-teams.
Centre has an excellent library and an inflatable planetarium along with the efficiency-sharpening Cyber School. The Cyber School with a good infrastructure and proper motto, conducts many short-duration courses for both the students and the teachers. The National Science Center, also houses a souvenir shop inside the museum premises.
